Château Palais Cardinal

Château Palais Cardinal is our main wine. According to the traditional methods to make a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, we use a majority of Merlot, complete with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Aged during 18 month in oak barrels, the Palais Cardinal offers attractive black fruit and incense notes on the well-defined bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with a little oak on the entry, though it has an attractive supple texture, well-judged acidity and a comely, silky smooth finish. This long keeping wine is perfect to drink with red meat like beef ribs or duck.

Revue des vins de France : 16/20. « Very good concentration with a high level of maturity that recalls the solar profile of 2009. Bel breeding for a concentrated material that deserves. This gives today a flattering character, a little grilled and smoked in the final. Stylish, modern and well-crafted”
